Imagine this: Driving around the country for half a year, in a truck with a camper top and six to eight bicycles at your disposal. You’ll visit friends in cities all over, and stop to ride anywhere in between wherever and whenever you want. Then when the money runs out, you pick which city you liked best and live there.

That’s what I’m doin startin mid-March! It’ll be like the time you took that road trip to the beach or to a big bike party or just down to the next town to check out a new trail, but forever.

The route is mostly undetermined. The plan is to have no plan, for the most part. I’ll be in Tucson for Easter, running a solo bikepacking trip into the desert and doing general debaucherous things, then we’re headed to the Bay Area in April, then Minneapolis in May (my birthday!) for the Almanzo 100 (I’m thinking of doing that on my fixed gear – thoughts?) and Kansas in June for Dirty Kanza (bring it, other Jessicas!). Besides that, we’ll drive around to where ever looks cool, camping most nights or staying with friends for others, chillin out some nights and partyin crazy on others, and basically just being free and going with the flow.

I. Am. So. Stoked.

This is not the actual route, just some ideas. The plans have already changed from when I roughly made this map and will continue to change as we change our minds, as people do.

I’ll miss Nashville and all my friends here but I’m mostly excited to start a new chapter in life. Wish me luck and fun and I’ll see y’all when I see you! Good bye!
